The Harman/Kardon AVR 7550HD is a 7.2-channel A/V receiver announced in November 2008 as Harman/Kardon’s flagship receiver. It features an HDMI v1.3a repeater and audio/video processing and upscaling to 1080p from any single video source.

At the time of its release, the 7550HD was touted as the first among its kind to incorporate Dolby Volume technology and the latest-generation Texas Instruments Aureus DA710 audio digital-signal processor in a dual-DSP configuration. As for connectivity, the receiver supports USB, S-Video, component, HDMI, broadband Internet, and iPhones/iPods via an included Bridge II docking station.
