The Pioneer VSX-9140TXH is an iPhone certified 7-channel A/V receiver. It includes a front USB input and a provided cable to connect an iPod or an iPhone for music playback. The receiver comes with five HDMI front inputs and 2 outputs.

The VSX-9140TXH addresses a common issue with HDMI cable connections, in specific, timing errors in the digital bit-stream between two connected components. The receiver uses PQLS-Multi technology to synchronize and buffer the digital audio signals, removing the audible effects of those timing errors. The Pioneer VSX-9140TXH comes with DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby True HD decoding and is both Satellite radio and XM radio ready. It has a menu screen that displays on screen album art and has up to three zones of AV distribution around the house.
