The STR-DG910 also supports transcoding of analog video sources (composite, S-Video, and component) to the HDMI output. Regardless of what it says below, this receiver does support LPCM over HDMI, but does not decode DTS-HD or Dolby TrueHD. It was originally released in April 2007 along with several other entry level models. The Sony STR-DG920 supercedes this receiver and adds Dolby TrueHD / dts HD-MA audio decoding, a fourth HDMI input, and second-zone audio for $600.
