The Sony STR-DN1000 is a 7.1 channel audio video receiver that is capable of delivering a full HD 1080 experience. There are seven HD inputs, including four HDMI inputs and it is compatible with 24p True Cinema technology video signals and has full HD upscaling via HDMI giving you ample HD capabilities and compatibility.

Deep Color and x.v.Color technologies work together to give 2x the number of colors for a greater HD experience. This unit is wireless multi-room audio ready allowing you to listen to your favorite music in any room with the optional S-Air transmitter and AirStation client. #sony_str_dn1000 Just finished installing this the sony STR-DN1000 receiver. I only have 1 Blue Ray Movie, The Hurt Locker and every time there is an explosion it goes into protetive move. Wish turns the receiver off every time, very anoyed by this. I gues I have to contact Sony and try to figuere this out.
