Yamaha RX-797
$500.00
Released June, 2006
The Pros:Barely any distortion detectable even at top power outputs. Output level seems to exceed the 100W rating per channel. Low-pass filter on the subwoofer channel creates very clear bass.
The Cons:Lacks the distinct tonal warmth found in higher end systems. Not effective as surround sound system.
